Do you know why letters in the keyboard are not in alphabetical order ?

Image
Check out why the keyboard is not arranged in alphabetical order.  We use keyboard every day, whether it may be your desktop or laptop or tablet or even your smartphone. Have you ever wondered that why keys on the keyboard are not in alphabetical order ?   Let you know....  To know why there are arranged in that way it takes us to the past history to the time of typewriters. In earlier days keys on the typewriters are arranged in alphabetical order. But later discovered that the people typed so fast the mechanical character  keys got jammed very easily with this arrangement.  To prevent this, the keys were randomly positioned so that the weaker fingers were needed more frequently. This meant that people typed at a speed which the machine could handle. As a result, the ‘QWERTY’ keyboard came into existence that we find and use today.  The QWERTY keyboard layout was devised and created in the 1860s by the creator of the first modern typew...

Image
Lenovo's upcoming Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus have been leaked several times over the past few weeks. With leaked renders to live images, it is almost confirmed what the devices will look like. However, if there was any lingering doubts, a new batch of leaks has emerged that reveal the design as well as benchmark listing of the devices.  On Friday, specifications for the Moto G5 were spotted on GFXBench. Based on the listing, the Moto G5 running Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box will feature a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display. The device sports a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Adreno 505 GPU. The listing hints at two models - one with 2GB of RAM and the other with 3GB of RAM. The device will also likely be offered in 16GB or 32GB internal storage options.  These specifications are in line with last week's leak by Spanish listing K-Tronix. However, while K-Tronix claimed a 13-megapixel rear camera for the Moto G5, the GFXBench listing s...

Where are 'A' and 'B' drives ? Why 'C' is the default drive ?

Image
A question that has bothered almost everyone of us at some time. In our computers "C" is the default drive and where are "A" and "B".  why did Windows do this? Actually the reason is something historical. And it is related to the classic floppy drives . Before hard disks became standard(1980), floppy disks were used for booting the computers. These were available in two sizes at that time: 5 1/4 ” and 3 1/2″. Those two floppy disk drives were labelled as Local Disk (A) and Local Disk (B). After the invention of Hard disk, floppy disk of size 8 inch came into existence. The hard disk drive was named C. Once hard disks became standard and floppy disks became obsolete, the drive names A and B vanished. As a result , drives other than default drive (C) labelled as D, E etc. DVD drive and USB drive are labelled as F, G and so on. This is the answer of our question. Despite of all this, you can rename your default it to whatever letter you...
